The fourth quarter of 2024 saw notable activity among the top news and magazines applications on a unified platform in Colombia. According to Sensor Tower, these apps demonstrated varied trends in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement.

X (Formerly Twitter) from X Corp. showed a fluctuating trend in weekly revenue, peaking at around $10K towards the end of November. Weekly downloads began with approximately 33K and spiked to over 51K by early December. The app maintained a robust presence with weekly active users fluctuating around 5.9M to 6.1M throughout the quarter.

Noticias Locales experienced variable download rates, starting with 7K and ending the quarter at close to 9.6K. Active users were recorded at 221K by the end of December.

Noticias Caracol had a significant peak in downloads in the second week of October with approximately 9.9K, while active users saw an increase from about 18K to 39K in the same period before stabilizing around 26K by the quarter's end.

Noticias Telemundo observed a notable surge in downloads in mid-November, reaching 8.2K. Active users mirrored this increase, rising from just over 2K to about 6.6K.

Google News - Daily Headlines maintained consistent download numbers, averaging around 700 to 1.3K weekly. Active users fluctuated between 180K and 233K, showing strong engagement throughout the quarter.
